| What are giclée prints? |
|
Giclée prints achieve the most accurate reproduction available of an original painting, giving exceptionally high resolution and depth of colour. They are produced utilizing the latest developments in digital printing technology. The inks used are based on artists' pigments and have exceptional UV stability. The paper is also of high archival quality, being 100% cotton, and will not discolour with age. A further advantage of the method is that it allows the artist to closely supervise the proofing stage, giving the potential to achieve a very high level of accuracy and refinement. Once published, the prints are individually checked by the artist, signed and numbered in the bottom left hand corner. The limited edition
prints on this website are available loose, packaged in a strong tube,
or presented in an ivory coloured mount with a backing card and protective
clear film.
